Get Involved in Moon Walk

Moon Walk encourages participation in several ways:

Teams: Teams may be from businesses, organizations, churches, neighborhoods-any group of five or more is welcome! Each team must have at least one captain who will register team members and oversee the team. The team captain will determine whether team members report mileage directly to him or her or through this site's online mileage reporting interface.

Sub-teams: Larger organizations may choose to create sub-teams of smaller groups (based on departments, locations, etc.), each with its own team captain. A sub-team will contribute to the organization's team total, but also have its own total. Sub-teams are designed to make Moon Walk more personal and manageable-and to encourage good-natured challenges among them. Both team and sub-team totals are viewable on this site.

Individuals: If you are not part of a team, you will register as an individual participant online. Once you have registered and picked up your participant kit from Moon Walk Central, you may then begin logging your mileage online.

Schools: Any school or classroom in Peoria, Tazewell or Woodford County is eligible to participate in this year's Moon Walk School Program. There is no cost and each school will receive one Moon Walk pencil for each student participant. Parent or guardian permission is required for a student to participate.
