How do I register as a Moon Walk individual?

Click the Register link, then click the “Individual Registration” button and follow the prompts.
Note: Do NOT register as an individual if you are already on a Moon Walk team or plan to start or join a team.

When will my order be ready for pickup?

You will receive a confirmation e-mail (probably on a Thursday afternoon) to let you know when your order will be ready for pickup at Moon Walk Central. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO PICK UP YOUR ORDER UNTIL YOU RECEIVE THIS CONFIRMATION E-MAIL. Note: If you submit your order before midnight on a Tuesday, we will make every effort to have your order ready for pickup on Friday of the same week.

How do I activate my account?

From the home page, click the Log In link, then enter the user name and password you set up when you registered (if you have forgotten one or both, click the link to request them online). When prompted, enter the Activation Code found on the label of the log book or pedometer kit package you picked up at Moon Walk Central. Once your account is activated, you will not need the Activation Code again.

How do I log miles?

From the home page, click the Log In link and enter the user name and password you set up when you registered (if you have forgotten one or both, click the link to request them online). Click "Enter your miles." On the page that appears, enter the total number of miles you have walked this week in the open box (e.g. 21.8), then click the "Update" button. Mileage logging for each week ends on Friday at noon. If you miss a week of logging, simply add those miles to your next week’s total.

Enter miles only. If you are using a step counter, convert your steps to miles by dividing by 2,000 (i.e. 2000 steps = 1 mile). If you inadvertently enter the wrong mileage total, simply use your mouse to highlight the incorrect total, then type the correct one and click "update." You may do this any time before the following Friday at noon.

If you enter a wrong mileage total and it triggers a page that says "New Incentive To Order," click "CANCEL." Then correct your mileage total as noted above.

How do I receive my free Moon Walk t-shirt?

When your mileage total reaches 100 miles, a Web page will appear that asks you to select or verify your t-shirt size. Click “Save Selection” to complete your order. You will receive an e-mail when your order is ready for pickup at Moon Walk Central. (See "When will my order be ready for pickup?" above for more details.)
